The following receipts do not receive Coins:
- Duplicate receipts (receipts that have already been submitted to your account)
- Shared receipts (receipts that have already been submitted to a different CoinOut account)
- Receipts that exceed the limit of 5 receipts from the same retailer within the same 24-hour period
- Receipts not in English
- Receipts not in U.S. dollars
- Receipts from retailer/stores located outside the Continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii
- Receipts with a zero or negative total bill amount
- Receipts for business or company related purchases
- Bills and invoices for services such as cell phone, utilities, doctor, medical, prescriptions, subscriptions, car payments, mortgage, insurance, etc.
- Receipts for store returns
- Bank statements, ATM receipts, account transfers, money orders, etc.
- Receipts that are from payment services (Venmo, Zelle, Cash app, etc.), payment processors (e.g., PayPal, Square), consumer-to-consumer platforms (e.g., eBay, Etsy) or distribution companies (e.g., Ticketmaster, Groupon, etc.)
- Receipts for participation in games of chance (lottery tickets, etc.)
- Credit card transaction slips
- Photos of receipts on a device screen, screenshots, barcodes, QR codes, or coupons
- Photos of online order e-receipts that have been printed out - These receipts must be submitted through our email and retailer connections
- Handwritten receipts or any receipt that has been altered in any way from the original
- Receipts that have been created by someone other than the retailer
- Blurry receipt images that cannot be read by our system
- If the phrase 'not a receipt' appears anywhere
- Shipping labels or packing slips
- Tickets (Event entry, movie theater tickets, transportation, parking, lottery, etc.)
